People with astigmatism are not suited for these contacts, myopia is fine. The degrees for the left and right eye can be different, the lens also come in plano (zero degrees) for those not needing prescription. Standard Packaging of contacts: Sterile and bottled with double secure caps, sealed with foil and plastic cap which will state the degree of the lens. The safety seal cannot be capped back once it has been broken. The bottle will also state the manufacturer's expiry date, so if after you have purchased the lens and do not wish to use it immediately, it can be stored until the expiry date without breaking the seal. After the bottle has been opened, the contacts will last for ONE YEAR from the day it has been opened.
